Experience Distinction

Are you looking for a training contract that will challenge you, inspire you and prepare you for a successful career in corporate law? Do you want to work with some of the world's most important companies and private equity firms on their most complex and high-profile transactions? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for excellence and a desire to learn from the best?
If you answered yes to these questions, then you should apply for a training contract at Paul, Weiss, one of the world's premier law firms. At Paul, Weiss, we are building the future of law. Our London office is steeped in innovation, from the cutting-edge work we handle to our unique location among our clients. As a trainee, you will experience distinction in every aspect of your professional life and development, including the firm’s elite, high-profile work; authentic training; and unique culture.
Throughout your two-year training contract, you’ll rotate through four distinct practice groups, giving you exposure to a variety of legal areas while you work with different teams every six months. These practice groups include Antitrust, Debt Finance, Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology, Litigation, Tax, Restructuring, Funds, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This rotation will allow you to develop a comprehensive understanding of different legal disciplines, helping you build a diverse skill set and explore potential areas of specialisation.
This immersive structure ensures you’re engaged in meaningful work from day one, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills where it counts most—on live projects for real clients, with real responsibility. By the end of your training, you’ll have a deep understanding of the law and the confidence to chart your own path in the field you’re passionate about.

“We have an elite bench of lawyers across private equity, public M&A, debt finance, tax and antitrust who act on the highest-profile and most complex transactions in the global markets.
